Eco Factor: Concept car designed to be powered by hydrogen fuel cells and electric batteries.
Designed by Matt Bradbury, the Rural Concept tries to improve the performance of zero-emission electric cars by integrating a hybrid system that runs on electricity and hydrogen fuel cells. The result is a clean vehicle that is feasible for a long drive at high speeds.
Featuring a carbon fiber chassis, the vehicle carries adaptable solar panels, which can rotate individually and as a unit to track the sun for better output. The solar panels push power into the in-wheel electric motors that propel the vehicle.
Solar energy is supplemented by a hydrogen fuel cell system and regenerative braking, that recharges the onboard battery pack on the move. With power coming from clean sources of fuel, the vehicle has no negative environmental impacts and offers functionality, practicality and efficiency to the user.
