Indian electric car maker REVA has announced that the company will launch two new electric vehicles at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. The company will be showing off the REVA NXR and the REVA NXG at the motor show.

The REVA NXR is a four-seat, three-door hatchback car suitable for urban driving and those interested in buying it can order the car at the show itself, with production aimed to commence in early 2010. The REVA NXG on the other hand is a sporty two-seater car designed by Dilip Chhabria of the internationally renowned auto design company DC Design.

The technical details and the cost of these new cars is still under wraps, but the company didn’t fail to mention that the cars will come with a “Virtual Charging” system which will make sure that the drivers are never stuck with an empty battery.
