Eco Factor: Low-emission car designed to be powered by a hybrid engine.
Folks over at the Temple of VTEC have got their hands on a 2011 Honda CR-Z brochure that reveals the specs of the hybrid coupe, which is destined to arrive with an option for both six-speed manual and CVT transmissions.
The car will feature a 1.5-liter i-VTEC gas engine supplemented by Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist electric drivetrain. While the gas engine produces a decent 114hp and 107 lb-ft of torque, the electric drivetrain adds 14hp and 57 lb-ft of torque.
According to the leaked brochure, the car can reach a speed of 62mph in 9.7 seconds, which isn’t exactly quick. However, the car is expected to be great for those looking for a hybrid with stick shift gears.
