Eco Factor: Trike capable of 125 miles on a single gallon of gas at 65mph.

What do car technicians do in their garages? Simple, they build what they never could at their company. The same is the case with John, a Ford fuel efficiency technician, who has modded a Kawasaki Ninja into a trike capable of hitting a top speed of 65mph and a staggering efficiency of 125mpg. The street legal 2-seat 3-wheel reverse trike is now being auctioned on eBay to raise funds for John’s next project – a plug-in hybrid car.

Powered by the 250cc liquid cooled, four stroke engine, the 505 pound machine comes with added features to reduce fuel consumption even when running at a decent speed of 65mph. The designer states that the fuel efficiency drops to 105mph when some bling is added to the vehicle in the form of sporty steering, bling wheels and a couple of other mods to improve the looks of the trike.
