Eco Factor: Air traffic control center for Slovenia designed for efficient functioning.
Sadar Vuga Architects have designed a sustainable and modern Air traffic control center for the Brnik Airport in Slovenia that will provide security and 24-hour comfort to the employees and the visitors to the center.
The center has been designed in accordance with the highest level of safety, operation and efficient functioning standards. Furthermore, the center is designed as a compact shell that can uncover whenever natural light is needed to illuminate the interiors, which can reduce the center’s energy demands substantially.
The center is separated from the edge of the plot in the north by a parking platform and carries tall greenery in the south. The more a person moves from the perimeter with administration offices and resting areas, the higher will be the safety level.
