Earthy Ecotourism Center in Fontainebleau France

This eco friendly bio climatic abode has been constructed on the site of ‘Gorges de Franchard’, which is a flourishing and famous forest area in Fontainebleau. The structure has a unique design with a bowed roof and clean lines on the bottom half. It imitates the shape of eroded stones strewn across the site. The simple yet sturdy abode, made out of wood, is a novel design, in which the old has been ingeniously blended with the new. The building has a modern design but exudes earthy vintage vibe.

The arched roof gives the building an excellent silhouette and the line of glass doors fitted all across the breadth gives the structure an open feel. The walls have been made with thin strips of wood and a slight gap has been left in between consecutive bands. This allows air and sunlight to stream inside the abode without compromising the privacy of the inhabitants. The structure helps you enjoy the natural greenery all around.

Thus, even though you are living in the midst of a thick forest, you are adequately sheltered. The orientation of the building minimizes the impact of wind blowing outside. Also, the building has superficial foundation, which guarantees the projects reversibility. In addition, the structure is powered by green energy sources. Inca Architects designed this marvelous plan and professionals like Cap Paysage, Arpente, Alpes Structures et Rostain Coste and M. Forgue were engaged to craft it. The practical structure covering 250 square meters of area was built for Seine et Marne tourisme. This is the first ever eco tourism center built in the île de France region.
