Cleantech picks California to build world’s largest solar farm

artsolarap 2405
Though, we have numerous solar power farms to generate power globally but now to outshine them San Francisco based 2-year-old company Cleantech America LLC, is proud to announce its plan to build the solar power farm near Fresno, California that will be world biggest.

This 80-megawatt farm will encompass 640 acres and after its completion in 2011 it will be 17 times larger than the present largest solar farm in the US.

Plans to achieve:

According to Cleantech’s CEO Bill Barnes this Kings River Conservation District Community Choice Solar Farm will function to transform renewable energy to outshine Germany as the biggest solar energy producer and to make California as a world leader for enormous solar projects.

Cost and effect:

The estimated cost of this world biggest farm is not announced but as far as concerned about effect of this gigantic project after completion it will be not less then a newly developed computer chip that can boost computing power when developed on large scale.

Future Projects:

Until now, Cleantech has unveiled their plans of two solar farms projects in California and somewhere near Fresno, Barnes only that will generate somewhere around 80-megawatt power. The company also announced its plans to build a five-megawatt solar farm on 40 acres near Mendota, California and also in the Central Valley, last week whose power will be delivered to PG&E. It is also noteworthy that to accomplish these projects Cleantech will also work in conjunction with California Construction Authority.

Barriers:

To announce something by word of mouth and to accomplish programmes practically makes a lot of difference because to make worlds largest solar energy farm is not a cakewalk, it has some barriers too that need to be conquered: Firstly, to buy enormous land somewhere around San Joaquin Valley. Secondly, to popper the farm towards conduction lines and last but not the least that is to make efficient contracts with the manufacturer of photovoltaic solar panels.

Selling plans:

It is reported that Cleantech will sell this solar-generated power to more then 21,000 people of the Kings River Conservation District, a public agency that supplies power generation for 12 cities and 2 counties in California’s Central Valley.

I think the day this programme will accomplish it will be an ultramodern achievement in solar power generation and it seems that the time is not far ahead when these solar power plants will take all the responsibility of power generation on their shoulders to produce clean energy.
