What’s Next: Aircrafts that fly on biofuel

As we know it Air travel has been constantly increasing and so is the share of the aviation industry in emitting greenhouses gases. Most of the aircraft had been and still run on oil-based sources that are constantly depleting and getting costlier. Thus, the cost of travelling has also been increasing rapidly. The bigger concern or challenge is to replace the oil with more eco-friendly and cheaper fuel sources. What’s Next: Aircrafts that fly on biofuel

Five biofuel powered military vehicles

The blooming advanced technology is looking forward for a renewable source of energy and biofuel is one of the leading choices. Biofuel is considered as one amazing renewable source of energy produced from living organisms, mainly plants or plant derived materials. The huge amount of biomass is converted via three conversion methods- thermal, chemical and biochemical processes, which leads to the production of biofuel. Bioethanol, biodiesel are some examples of biofuels. To overcome the petrol and diesel crisis, biofuel has been introduced as a source of energy to drive vehicles. But that’s not it as now many military vehicles are using the biofuels as the source of energy. Let’s find […]

Kirklee residents use cooking oil to generate electricity

Amongst various problems threatening today’s generation, rising pollution and depleting fossil fuel is a major concern. Almost every measure is being taken to save the world from energy crisis in an eco-friendly way. Now the Go-Green motto is followed by the new technology and innovative ideas. The Kirklees residents, accordingly, have come up with a novel idea, which involves generating electricity from cooking oil. The whole process is done at one of their council’s waste recycling center, which is then collected by the Living Fuels. The whole approach of generating eco-friendly electricity from cooking oil is one brilliant approach to save the world from energy crisis. In this process tanks […]
