BMW 3-Series goes eco friendly by coughing less CO2

bmw 3 series uqgQH 5784 German auto maker’s best selling 3 series is getting green. I am not referring to the shade but its green effect on our planet. BMW is all geared up to release a new 3-Series saloon that is estimated to keep its CO2 emissions under control. That is less then 120g/km. Currently 318d generates 123g/km but with some minor corrections, like improving the aerodynamics and gearing as well as adding lower rolling resistance tires, BMW is all set with a version of the 318d that will have a sub-120g/km CO2 level. Who ever owns this car will receive a 100% refund on London’s congestion charge as well as lower registration tax also in the UK as it would qualify for the Band B taxation category. A BMW spokesman also revealed that any revisions made to the 3-series would flow-on to the 1-series, making the compact hatch even cleaner, and could potentially feature on other models within the line-up.
