Aquaovo’s Ovopur: Crafting clean water with elegance and style

It seems the world is tripping over itself in trying to make stuff that is both eco-friendly and appealing to the masses. It is very nice and interesting to note that in the past couple of years or so, every green product is welcomed and being an eco geek is totally in. That does not mean that I’m still going to go down that path, but eco friendly gadgets are almost a necessity now. Over the past six months I have seen plenty of water purifiers but this one stands out for its simplicity and style.

The Ovopur from Aquaovo is an eco-friendly water purifier that uses the ancient method of sedimentation to get its process done. Now I do not think it is as simple as I said, but it is almost the correct word for the process. The Ovopur is made of porcelain, glass and metal and it looks more like a miniature round, potbellied human form than a water purifier. Never mind the naughty minds. Ovopur’s specialty lies in its very innovative use of gravity to filter out harmful toxins and bacteria instead of electricity that the conventional water purifiers use.

The method is simple the best and it is something that is widely used in large plants across the planet for preliminary treatment of water. It uses contemporary materials, in a combination of KDF55, activated charcoal, advanced microporous bio ceramics and quartz crystals. All these materials are arranged in various layers and the water has to flow through all these layers and is filtered to the height of purity. It is available only on request. I still wish we had more details about how it eliminates chemical toxins by such a process. But on the face of it, Ovopur looks like an eco gadget that is worth bringing home.
