Geneva-based watchmaker Altanus has unveiled the world’s first paper watch that it calls the “Patch”. Inspired by the papier-mâché floats at the annual Carnival festival in Viareggio, Tuscandy, the timepiece comes with a LED display.

This enticing ticker is made from paper though, but the company has promises it to be waterproof and shock- and tear-resistant, thanks to the protective coating. Weighing only 11 grams, this funky watch comes with a price tag of nearly $33.50, which is a mere fraction of Altanus’ typical luxury chronometers. The exquisite timepiece flooding in 10 neon colors will wrap around your wrist like a second skin.
