With the use of same design drivers, Janne’s previous creation Arkki has inspired him to use the same alphabet ‘A’ in his new creation’s name too. A50 Open is a 50-foot long deck catamaran made out of specially selected materials that are friendly to the environment. As this catamaran design has been based on a green ideology, the composite deck material presented by Esthec appeared to be the perfect choice to the designer.

This concept is based on electric technology, and its nice combination with Esthec composite deck makes it a good choice for boaters. This yacht is given a large open space as it aims to be used for chartering and day cruising purposes. Even for longer trips, it proves to be an excellent option due to the fact that it has been designed to easily accomodate of four passengers. The yacht design includes two comfortable cabins. Its structure offers several options to customize it per user needs and to utilize it in a quiet and clean manner.

This yacht may have a personalized deck, sun bathing area and cabins per what the client requires. The client may also decide the overall look of the boat. At a low cost and with minimal manufacturing time, users may get it set up in accordance with the colors and deck patterns they want. These patterns may also be chosen from some given variations.

The best part is that the yacht’s structure allows multiple power sources to be used. For extra energy, its top portion would function as the surface for solar panels, while the space under its rear deck is utilized for the storage of energy and electric engines.
